About HCFA

Our founders

Health Clinic For All was founded by Dr. Ali Ahmad Khorrami — son of marhoom Ahmad Ali Khorrami and marhooma Saboor Jaan Khorrami — and Dr. Fakhria Masumi Khorrami — daughter of marhoom Sayed Ahmad Ali Shah Masumi and marhooma Belquis Parwanta Masumi.

The husband-and-wife doctors graduated from medical school in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1980 (1359 H. Sh.) and 1981 (1360 H. Sh.). More than four decades ago, they were forced to emigrate from Afghanistan because of war and concerns for their safety. They now live in the United States, practicing medicine as physicians.

Their love and gratitude for the country that raised them so graciously — giving them a free education, including medical school — have weighed on them throughout the years, even as they raised their own family and looked for a way to give back.

They hope to provide health services to their fellow countrymen and countrywomen as a gesture of that gratitude. They chose to establish HCFA remotely as a nonprofit organization, managed by talented local professionals and staff.

The founders' deepest gratitude goes to the hardworking local people, beginning in 2019, and to the volunteer work of the mohtaram Sarmoalem Zamiri, his family, and the mohtaram Muhammad Zaki Zamiri, the clinic administrative manager.

Special thanks to mohtaram Haji Saheb Abdullah (Haji Mama), whose passion and devotion to this project mean so much to the founders.

Admiration goes to mohtaram Mohandis Naseri and all the construction workers who worked tirelessly to build this clinic.

Appreciation goes to everyone who selflessly gave their ideas, their time, and even their financial support to make this clinic a reality — and to the founders' own family for their support throughout this endeavor.
